Description
The active constituent, Tretinoin belongs to a category of medicines called retinoids. The other name of Tretinoin is all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA). This drug molecule was patented in 1957 and was approved for therapeutic use in 1962. The molecular weight of Tretinoin is C20H28O2 and the molecular weight is 300.4412 g/mol. This medication is included in the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines. Tretinoin is also used for acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). For APL, this medication is administered orally for up to three months. It is a schedule H drug.

- Use this Generic Retin A with caution if you have recently used products containing sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid.
Side Effects of Generic Retin A:
The commonly observed side effects of this medication include
- Redness of skin
- Skin irritation
- Dryness
- Itching
If any of these effects worsen or last longer, immediately notify your pharmacist or doctor. A serious side effect to this medication is rare. For excessively dry skin you can use a daytime moisturizer.

Warnings of Generic Retin A:
